RATS WRONG FORUM, PLEASE MOVE TO 2 stroke troubleshooting
we need a manual petcock to replace a bad vac. unit on a Beemer Matrix any one have a source ?

i got mine at a john deer dealer. it was hanging on the wall, said they use it on chain saws..

yeah i was kind of thinking TSC, quality farm and fleet, mower shop. the JD place is 2 mls. from work i'll stop by and see what i find. not real interested in the $51.00 stock replacement i found online. ( thanks, steve

on my beamer I used the oem vacuum petcock (had a hard time finding a fitting after I removed it) all you have to do is drill the fuel barb deeper so it will bypass the diaphragm (you can see from the top when its thru) then plug the vacuum barb and install any 1/4" manual petcock inline be sure to blow it out with compressed air before installing back on the tank

that will work, i was thinking of just putting an elbow on the tank spigot then an inline ( they're $11.00 ) your way is neater, and easier.

Works great! Ive been running that way for years now. But like Skipp said, blow it out ad rinse REAL good because shavings get all caught up in there.

well, it seems that since this is his wifes scoot she doesn't want to be reaching in there and touching anything, so it's the $51.00 plus shipping stock replacement.
