:panic: :panic:
For those whom have either had one or currently have an E.Ton Beamer II/ 2 Stroke/ 50cc
I could use any and all feedback on this machine to get a few things understood. It was purchased recently used from original owner since 05' current mileage 2300 and as the moment it has a Tecnigas Next R pipe w/Vari removed possibly jetted, but that's as much I've found.
It's 100% OEM other than stated...
Looking for options: -Carb -Jets -Clutch (Clutch/Contra Springs) -Headlight options (Bulb)
Primarily any performance options and helpful tips would be much appreciated, Thx...

:welcome2: For the carb you should be fine with stock for now and even if you go with a sport style big bore kit. If you do choose to upgrade there are quite a lot of options. I really like DellOrtos and would probably choose a 19-21mm PHBG if upgrading. Jets for the stock carb should be Mikuni VM11/22 main. Pilot can vary. JetsRUs.Com carries a lot of them. Clutch springs and contra springs are easy to find. Just look for springs for Minarelli/Jog/1E40QMB engines. Usually you want to use stiffer clutch springs with a tuned pipe, so if it's sluggish pick up a set. The clutch itself is fine for most till they get into serious tuning with high rev setups. As long as you can get the CVT in tune with roller weight swaps you don't really have to bother with the contra spring unless your belt is slipping. You've got all sorts of performance options. A big bore kit is a great choice and so is an aftermarket variator. Lots of people sell big bore kits, including our advertisers. I like iron sport kits for the street... stuff like the Polini Sport, Hoca, Malossi Sport, etc.... I use Hoca variators from PFS on most of my scoots. Good variators for a reasonable price and from a reliable seller. There are variations in sizes of the wrist pin if ordering a big bore and of the crank splines if ordering a variator. I believe the Eton scoots use the smaller of each, but here's more info on that... 49ccscoot.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=yamajog&action=display&thread=2422

glad to see you over here have you noticed any imporvement with the snorkel removed or did you put the snorkel back in When I took the Snorkle off my Eton it wouldnt run at all  In the winter, when it was about 35 degrees out, I even put a little piece of bicycle inner tube over half of it and it ran better.
