I thought there was only one GP? Or are you just looking for which part number will fit?

I'd probably try PN 7471. That's listed for the Aerox 50 that used a Minarelli long case. The Leo ZX I have for a 100cc Aerox fits my Chinese engines very well. That'd be my guess, but I don't know it's the correct one. Here it is on their site, but it's $250 from them. You'll need to shop around if that's the PN you choose to go with. www.leovinceusa.com/cart/productdetail.php?Make=YAMAHA&PartNum=7471&Year=1999

Thanks Brent.... Also scooter is starting to run a lot better... I think the petcock will have to be replaced at some point. But i found a leak on my manifold gasket and my exhaust wasn't sealing properly. So I cut them some new gaskets... Running much better now.

More the looks, but the sound is a bonus also...

Never tried one, but I have heard the GP isn't the best performer too. It's just so cool looking though it's hard to resist.

It's better than stock, but not much more. It's comparable to most other standard replacement exhausts - e.g, Stage6 street, LV touring. No denying, it does look nice.

My understanding had been that it would be basically like the SP3, but with the negative reviews I dunno. I like the SP3, and if it's like that it does it's job. The bad part of pipes is if you choose the wrong one for your app it's easy to just say the pipe sucks.

The bad part of pipes is if you choose the wrong one for your app it's easy to just say the pipe sucks. Exactly, it's a perfectly good pipe, at what it's supposed to do. Which isn't scream at 12000rpm - it's a low revving, low noise street pipe that will still offer gain's over stock. The touring and the SP3 are pretty much the same, one replaced the other but I can't remember which way round lol.

the touring was suposed to replace the navagator the sp3 is another style of street pipe that tends to be a bit higher reving then the other pipes
the sp3 will rev as high as a zx pipe and still have that street pipe sound instead of the expansion pipe sound

Ok so I found 2 optionally for exhaust about the same price... 1 is a s. P3 and one is the Gp... About ten dollar difference

From what JMK says it's gonna come down to whether you want the coolest look or the best performance. I have an SP3 and I know that it does a good job. It doesn't do as well as the ZX at higher revs from what I've seen, but it's a good stealthy pipe. The GP is shaped an awful lot like the SP3, which is why it makes me think it should somewhat perform like it, but I have no idea what it really does other than what others say which contradicts my thoughts. Both look a lot like the typical expansion chamber setup, but it appears the GP is made as a more smooth transition from header size to what would be the belly and the SP3 may have hade more care taken in angles and diameters? I have diagrams of the insides of all the afore mentioned Leo pipes in the thread below if you wanna look for yourself... 49ccscoot.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=exhausted&thread=1391&page=1#20160
