I picked up a Motobatt MBTX7U to replace the YTX7L-BS that I use in my Tritons. Got it from eBay seller Motobatteries, delivered fairly quick and packed well, for under $60 total. It's the same size, but offers more power. A typical YTX7L-BS is rated at 6Ah, and this one is 8Ah. The standard battery offers 85CCA, this one says 115CCA. We can always use more power, especially when it's an easy swap! ;D To make things even better, the Motobatt uses a different terminal style than the average replacement. You can attach your connectors directly to the battery with screws provided, rather than fiddling with the nut and bolt that can be a pain at times with standard batteries. They also provide a dual connection adapter to make adding additional connectors easier. I just got it and installed it so all I can tell you for a real world review is that it powers everything fine and the engine cranks over easily. UPDATE : 3 years later it's still working fine.
