Did ya make sure the 'kill' button is in the run position and that the fuse near the battery is ok?..

Yea the kill switch is in the run position I changed the fuse near the battery and it still doesn't work. It did this previously and I moved stuff around and it started working again ran the scooter for awhile turned it off then went to restart it and nothing. I can bypass the ignition and get the starter to run the bike but not from the run button

If you ever crank it for more than 5 seconds at a time due to difficult starts.. The Relay/Solenoid and Starter can fry quickly. But your starter motor works when by passed..so you can rule that out.. Now check the other things mentioned..

Pulled the starter relay off my running scooter and put on the non running one, wasn't the problem all wires have been traced and seem to be where they should yet I still have nothing from the ignition button.

Battery wires are on? Both big thick green ground wires on tight? One ground is engine..the other is a frame ground. Also did you check the momentary switch to see if it has continuity?(the start switch itself) Bridge the 2 terminals in the pic below with a screwdriver(known as jumping the relay)..if the engine then cranks over..the problem is between the 2 thing wires on that relay and your switch..or it may be the switch itself. So use a screwdriver...jump the relay and let us know if it turns over..

I can start it by bridging the relay. It's weird because it occasionally worked then stopped and now it doesn't work at all I can seem to find the interruption in the wiring. But it may be something simple the wiring harness is a little ghetto rigged the bike was stolen and hot wired so I trying to reuse the harness by patching it up with another bikes clips

So the bike is officially wired, the fuse off the battery kept blowing I ruled it out because it had the problem and then worked fine then had the problem again what happened was the spare fuse had fallen onto the bad one allowing current to go then it too blew so easy fix after all the wire tracing I never want to do again.
