Hah, you bought the same fuel line I did, the blue 1/4" ID. Hmm. Do you have a Manual? What model/year is it? I'm assuming it's a 4 stroke so this post may get moved to that forum, just FYI. The pictures def help though, good job on that and welcome to the forum!

Thank you. No I don't think i have the manual. I can check online. This is another pic of the disconnected hose. This one shows where is coming from. i.minus.com/jbg8TAr85oJQBZ.JPG

I couldn't say exactly. I'm not familiar with the 4strokes yet, I'm barely familiar with 2 stroke. But I know someone is bound to have that answer for you and maybe some more insight as to what to look for! Hang in there.

I don't know too much about 4T's either, but I've had starting and running issues due to low compression before. Luckily all my scoot needed was the cylinder head nuts to be tightened and presto! 90psi is about the minimum for 2t's- don't know about 4t though... lots of 4t guys here. Someone will be along to help!

What do you mean by low compression?

The disconnected electric plug probably goes to your auto-enricher on your carburator. The unpluged hose is part of the anti pollution gizmo and goes at the end of the U shape chromed pipe that come out of the valve cover.

Electrical plug should plug in the plug from the carb:

Unless you can give some specific scenario that would hint to why it would not start, I would say troubleshoot it in order. (check for spark, compression, fuel, etc. untill you get to something that needs fixing)

It has spark.
Sometimes it would start but then it idles down.
Checked the fuel lines and I believe that is getting fuel.
One thing that I noticed is that when it turned on the hose was taking air in.

My Taotao has the same plug that appears to be a spare. There is nothing plugged to it. The wires are green and black/white. I don't think that is a issue for you. The hose looks like it should go to a nipple on the intake manifold. Does it come from the same place as the hose on the "u shaped chrome thing?" If it does then you have a vacuum leak that would cause your engine to run very poorly if at all. Billy

For the electric plug: Look for its mate somewhere on the bike. On mine, there use to have 2 plugs of that size. one was for the carb auto"choke", the other went to the magneto.
