What color is the connector on your cdi?? Green Found this on tgbforum talking about my scooter: Is there any validity to this? I thought the ignition system was all A/C and ran off the flywheel/stator? Also found on tgbforum: assuming stator not starter. also

Green is the bad one red tipped is replacement the green will stop the bike from starting or running, also what color tip is on the stator wiring if its blue should be fine if its white you have the recalled stator that was never replaced under warranty, only reason the r50x has the 8 pole is because of the digital instrument panel and phone charger and there hard to find the ones that are available are the 4 pole stators

What do you mean "tip on the stator wiring" ?

It's white with a blue connector inside of it coming from the (Recifier?) Here's CDI: Stator wiring: I remember seeing a document or PDF of like recalls and warranty info for TGB Scooters but I can't seem to find it. Do you know what I'm talking about?

There talking about the 4 pole stator there, is the 8 pole stator also included? Man I don't know what to do. Need to get this flywheel off but it just won't come off.

I might go out tommorow and try to get some longer bolts, some washers, and that Harbor Freight Bolt-Type Puller

I'm pretty sure Brent already mentioned this, but when I didn't have the correct flywheel puller for my Adly engine I ended up using this puller from HF to get it off. It hooks around back of the flywheel and the threaded bolt in the center pushes... I will say that it was starting to bend a little bit and I wasn't sure it was gonna work, then "pop!" it came off! This pic isn't the exact one I used, but this will give u an idea what it looks like... EDIT: After looking at your pics again, it seems like it might be a little difficult to get something in behind there eh? Dangit!

Look at the pics on my l.c build too see how I did it Thanks man just checked. At first I thought you were just speculating, but if it worked for you then that's exactly what I'll do. Thanks! niz76, yeah they really didn't want anyone to pull the flywheel on these things. It isn't threaded on the inside of the crank hole either.

Just do it slowly cause when it pops it sounds like something breaks but its fine,I noticed to day that I have same stator that's why my new engine didn't fire up yesterday
