Something is sticking or broken in your CVT IMO. :welcome2:

sounds like a CVT issue, i had a red GT5-50 that wouldn't take off on hills, i replaced the clutch and belt and it helped, used 5g rollers and it was fine after that.

If the comp. is like 120 psi or better and the rotor/reluctor orientation is proper then tranny is not reacting properly. You should be able to sense this from engine speed comparations between the poor running scoot and the proper running one.

How do i check cvt without removing You dont.
You need to open it up to check the weight of your rollers, the strenght of your contra spring and the general state of your belt.

Do i need an impact gun to remove that nut on the clutches? The short answer is "yes". However, I have had to resort to other measures as my impact frequently has a hard time breaking the initial factory torque on the clutch nut and the variator nut. I've tried a few different things to hold the clutch bell while breaking the nut loose from a strap wrench to (unsuccessfully) fabricating a tool to hold it. Recently I've been using a huge 'C' clamp to clamp the bell and break the nut loose.... Have you checked the weight of the rollers in the scoots? Heavy roller weights can mimic the effect of a soft contra spring... Although they may be two identical new scoots, the Chinese have a reputation for being inconsistent with parts.

If you got good compression, it would be your that contra spring is in fact a recycled matress spring.
