Yes, Right hand thread(standard)..Finding a LH thread die and nut would be very hard,,All the Minarelli engines use a right hand thread there..UNLESS the kick starter engages on the nut itself,Then you will need to search the world for a LH thread set up.If ya gotta go that route and dont have any luck,a replacement crank and nut is the only option..
ScrappyDog has cranks, didnt see any nuts though..

My concern was that it would fall off... sense it was reverse thread before I unscrew to the left. Thanks again to all.

If you think of the direction of the force, it's going against the thread and not with it so it's not being torqued off by the force of motion. Glad you got it sorted!

Hoca Vari did not fit 2007 TGB Sunset 49cc 2Stroke.
Spacer tube ( tube where Vari spins on ) is to small on inner diameter.
So.. not going all the way in over splines where the back movable drive face sits
and because of that it stays out enough to cover half of splines where exterior fixed drive face should sit.
Any comments guys? What a mes! never again man... I am just depressed now, bicycle ride to work.

I grinded the inside of the Spacer Tube to make it go in over those last splines in there, Fixed Drive Face sits in better now, but Spacer tube does not spin free over crank, and vari full open presses the belt tight, scoot runs horribly.

You're the third person to mention the spacer tube (drive boss) on the Hoca vari fit too tight- I had to sand the inside of mine also to get it to over the splines freely. You may need to add some spacers to add length to the drive boss to get a better take-off. These vari's come with 4 gram roller weights which are too light for most real-world applications... Check the tech section for tons of info on CVT tuning.

I second this. I too had to grind down the inside of my drive boss to get it over the splines. Once I got it to freely move, the rest was cake. You can see here in my thread how it was.

Strange, my hoca variator fit my small splined dopplar crank like a glove.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using proboards

Where can I find a separate Fixed Drive Face? mine is striped. Just the drive face? I believe PFS has them. Depending on your engine.
