So I've never seen the inside of a 2 stroke until mine tried eating itself. My question is does it matter how the reed valves go back in is there a particular way? My GF relocated mine and it was on the table the way it came out I haven't seen any marks that would indicate it matters, but this is new to me. Thanks in advance.

Small end bearing collapsed tried to chill between piston and head and at 8500rpm it wasn't very comfortable :/

The reed assembly should only line up with the bolt holes in the case one way. The reeds themselves you can flip over, sometimes done if they are slightly curved to get a better seal. Once you get the reeds on the reed block, look through and see if you can see light passing between the reeds and block. If you can, then you may need to flip them.

I might just be dumb but I can put it on two ways it'll rotate around and go back down

Yeah, I guess it would. There should be no specific orientation on a stock reed cage. Aftermarket may have thicker reeds on one side, but stock is fine however it fits in there.
