Heyy there, I have bought a Honda Giorno which was left for a long time (3-4 months) so it was sluggish when accelerating and also didn't run with less than 5 kick-starts, I took it to one shop last week and that guy changed the carburetor's adjustments, and now I feel it's even worse. What should be the adjustments for the carburetor (Exactly like the one in the image) ?? Thanks!

Thank you, I read it and understood everything, but now that I have screwed the two screws according to the instructions, something else changed, I now have to turn the accelerator 1/4 throttle while kick-starting in order to make the engine start and it even needs more than 5 kick-starts to work. Now what's the problem? Thanks.

you said that was the first problem.
theres not much adjustments on them carburetors. theres, a needle with a clip, theres notches on the needle. thats the one, then the other, if you take the carb bowl off, on the bottom, there's a main jet. thats it. im not for sure which motor you really have, so theres manuals, on the internet.
i cant really see the screws in that picture of that carb. theres 2. ones idle mix others throttle slide rpm. slide rpm should just turn the slide up a little, enough air let in to start it. the idle mix screw, the one more right there in that picture, in the .. sorta middle, down a little to the left, i think, is the mix screw. setting sorta sideways, at an angle on it. should be, first you count the number of turns it takes to bottom that screw out. if its been set, by the shop, count how many turns so you can keep up with it. then turn it to where its about 1 1/2 or 2 turns out. maybe somewhere inbetween. that should be stock. ahh, anywhere between around 1 1/4 - 2 1/2 somewhere is stock.

@hatemgi Good to have you here. It sounds like you might need to up jet your carb. Check out the TECH LIBRARY in the forum you might find all the answered you seek.

If the guy at the shop didn't take the carb off, take it apart and clean it then that would be the first thing I suggest you do.
