Ok just did a top end build on my 1e40qmb finished it started the motor it had a slight exhaust leak nothing crazy got on it went maybe three houses down at RPMs under 4k it got three houses then died out I cranked it back up and the moment I touched the throttle it does brought it back and could get it to start but just barely and once it did start it would run for a second or two then died sometimes it would let me rev it, it would get to 4k ish then die off finally I cleaned the carb put it back together started it first turn I figured problem solved I went inside to get tools to put the seat on and test ride when it got the seat on it died and gave me hell restarting finally got it to start and the moment I throttle it dies I've cleaned the carb several times since to no avail I'm now asking for suggestions these two strokes are a mystery to me.

None that I'm aware of I have one vacuum line not hooked up but I can't figure out where it goes.

BBK? What size main jet? What air filter? Stock? If there's an air leak it'll be hell to get running right... Did you remove the intake and/or reeds? They're notorious for leaking- stock gasket rarely seals. I use Permatex Ultra Grey Motoseal1 for almost everything- base gasket, intake, exhaust etc.

This is the only vacuum line I can find a home for. It's an 80cc kit stock air intake fake performance exhaust. I took the reeds out I'm pretty sure they're sealed it still has a minor exhaust leak.
