I just got a 2013 tao tao ATM 50a1 that hasn't been very well taken care of and I've noticed it has some bolts missing on the CVT cover and were the seat bucket is bolted

For the bolts in the CVT cover Just grab one that is currently in it and take it to a store that specializes in fasteners(Brafasco is the one I use) and they will match up the bolts you need and tell you the size.

They are metric 6m bolts by 40m &30mm on the cvt and I believe you're seat bucket should have 8mm standoffs so you would need a 8mm nut for that. I could be mistaken on the nuts cause I know It takes a 10mm socket to install. I have the same scoot, so I'm still learning the metric terminology.

Had to use that method as a few of the bolts on Both my Yamahas were stripped before I got to them so had to replace them and just went to Brafasco and 15minutes later I had all the bolts I needed plus a few extras just in case.

Yeah I just got this one for free yesterday so I figured I can have some fun fixing it.

You can also find the bolts at common places like Ace Hardware...

Building bolts(SAE) and Automotive bolts(Metric) are different so be real careful. Most hardware stores don't carry a lot of metric nuts and bolts because all measurements for home and buildings are in SAE(inches) and 99 percent of Automotive including Motorcycles/scooter are metric

When you find your metric bolts etc. Get some spares. Nothing sucks more then taking a trip to get 1 lousy bolt!

Blue arrows in your pic point to the attachment points for a stock air filter box.
The seat nuts are gonna be 6mm thread as well. They makespecial acorn nuts like the ones that hold the exhaust pipe to the motor for those cause they are easier to get on the studs down in the recessed area.

A selection of M6x1.0 nuts and bolts in different lengths comes in handy with Chinese scooters. M8x1.25 is also pretty common. Ace and mom & pop hardware stores are the best spots to buy fasteners a few at a time IMO. McMaster-Carr is great if you wanna stock up on nuts, bolts, washers, or find some more obscure hardware. CVT cover bolts will need to be either an 8mm head, which you prob won't find easily, or allen type cap screws.

Number 1000 post:
I have purchased a few assortments of 6 & 8mm bolts and some screws from John at TVNACMAN for my scoot. I also have a lot of metric bolts in interesting shapes and sizes scrounged from cars. I also keep all the bolts I change out on the scoot so my collection is growing.
