Sitting still if apply the rear brake the scooter shakes. Don't get why the idle is not that high and the scooter doesn't try to move by its self. The front brake doesn't make it shake.

I notice that on my Jog too. I just assumed that since the brake is applied its holding the wheel drum tighter, which makes you fell the engine vibes, instead of them escaping through the wheel to the ground

I have noticed the same thing on a couple 2T's. 1 of them was stock, and 1 modified. I think possibly the brake being applied couples the vibrating engine to the wheel better, transferring more of the vibrations.

Sounds like it might be diagnosing new problem for me. It never vibrated like this before with the brake on. Thanks for the help. I'll tear into it and keep you posted. Maybe it's a clutch issue?

have someone else get on and brake and take off the cvt cover maybe and see if anything looks out of place. Maybe theres a lot of play in the clutch or something else that is vibrating.

I don't know what you mean with "vibrates" but my Jog also vibrates when pulling the rear break. But it doesn't when i pull the front break. Kinda what birdman described.

My Kymco has done this since I first got it. Just idling and sitting on it without the brakes you can feel a very slight vibration throughout the scooter. When I apply the rear brake the vibration increases. I believe the vibration happens in a front to rear fashion(piston's movement path) then when the brake is applied the vibration can't cause the scoot to roll forward or back(talking less than 1mm). Only happens with the rear brake because there's no dampening between the rear wheel and the motor.

All 3 of my TNG LS49's (Minarelli powered Vento Zip clone) did that too. I'm sitting on the scooter stopped with the engine idling and there's minimal vibration. Apply the rear brake and the whole scooter starts vibrating. It wasn't crazy shaking but it was definitely there. Never did figure it out but it wasn't a "problem" for me. I checked everything over and all was well so I just ignored it but I did think it was odd nonetheless.

Pull off belt & try it , will eliminate clutch, belt & rollers etc. Grabbing if suspect?

I'll try it on my scooter when it's back together, but I have to ask
What are y'all doing holding the rear brakes while stationary?

I'll try it on my scooter when it's back together, but I have to ask What are y'all doing holding the rear brakes while stationary? Dunno- I simply put my feet down onto the road and if it happens to be slick or on an incline or a decline and/or uncomfortable I simply get off the scoot and plant my feet and stand in front of my scooter holding it back as if I were Superman stopping a speeding bus. I however would never and I repeat- NEVER pull in the brake lever while my scooter is stationary. Sorry fellas (and ladies) I'm in a crazzy strange mood tonight with my kEyBoARd lol

Yes that's right. If you're waiting for a red light on a slope then the scooter wants to roll and so the brake lever stops that. Also when maneuvering the scooter with your feet when parking it you would use the back brake to stop it when pushing it backward. There's plenty of times when you use it when you aren't going anywhere. Pulling out of a gas station into traffic it's a sloped driveway and you gotta wait for oncoming cars to go by etc...

Apply brake at idle and there is a noticeable vibration throughout the bike. I never found anything wrong. My best guess is at idle the belt is loose since the clutch isn't engaged and the belt is oscillating slightly. When the brake is applied this belt oscillation is being further transferred to the wheel and the rest of the frame.
