Perhaps the spacing of the crank and primary driveshaft is different from one engine to the other. There are a few case lengths in the GY6 50 / 139QMB and each uses a different belt length and different CVT cover. This is applicable to the Chinese CF250 engine as well. While repairing a basket case Diamo Velux which had the original engine plus a used replacement, both damaged. I ran into several differences on them. The case on the used replacement is longer by about 1/2". This is most notable with the rear disc brake plate, as it is too short to reach the engine mount holes. Both the variator and clutch asm are the same, but the new belt a shop installed on the 2nd engine is too long for the original engine. Also in the final drive, the output shaft is 1" longer than the original. The original was 5.5" from case to tip, the replacement is 6.5". Gear ratios in the final drives are different too.
