I have some parts for one of those I stripped. I think I have the left side controls for the blinker/high/low beam/horn, I might have the cover for the floor board. I have an engine too.

thats pretty sweet, the left side controls would come in handy, i ordered the dip stick but im dumbfounded by the front brakes =/ i cleaned the old fluid put in new, and then it seemed that the bleeder was already loose cuz i saw some brake fluid on the floor so i went to tighten it and it doesnt get tighter so i loosened it all the way and put it back in all the way and it still has a drip ill put a pic up of it in the morning when i get to work

well if the bleeders not tightening up then its stripped and you'll have to get a new caliper. it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to get the cdi off the top of the motor, can't imagine sitting on the motors a good place for it with the vibrations and heat. not 100% sure it really matters, just noticed it in the pics.

That caliper may not be easy to find. I sold the brake caliper off my SC50 to Scooterrebel. Maybe he doesn't need it? I PM'ed him over on his forum to see if it's available.

So the calipers can't just be purchased online I figures they would be somewhat universal?

This project already looks like a pain in my rear, but i appreciate you guys being here to help me. So last night I bought some 3 dot brake fluid, cleaned the MBC with a paper towel to get the old stuff out and put some new in. It leaked out right away (not all, but slowly) . So i check the bleeder and its pretty tight and if i loosened it it would come out a lil faster. So i tightened it back up. When its on tight and i squeeze the front brake and theres fluid in there it makes a squishing sound and some drops come out, if i dont apply the brake and theres fluid in there with the bleeder on tight it slowly accumulates and begins a very slow drip i managed to get a couple of shots of it.

from the 2nd to the 3rd pic u can see the accumulation of the brake fluid. it basically starts by the tire side, tonight i will cover the bleeder in paper towels and see again, might end up taking the whole front brake assembly apart, Fox you are right, that is a pricey brake caliper =( may have to put the brakes on hold till i can get more educated on this matter

So I can tell from the second pic that you have only one or no brake pads in there. The caliper piston is rubbing on the disc metal to metal. Not going to work like that.

It depends. If the fluid is coming out of the bleed nipple then pads won't help. The piston has an o-ring on it that can fail.

well i figured id need new pads anyway cuz who knows when they were changed last, ill get some and put them in, do you suggest i take the whole assembly off and check out the piston and the gaskets and o rings clean it up make sure everything is good? this thing is pretty much a restoration. previous owner was a drug dealer who used it to make his runs.

Personally, I think you should junk it. Those scooters are pieces of crap. Why throw money at it when in the end you you'll still have a P.O.S. Those SC50's were sold by Pep Boys Auto Parts for a short while and they didn't have any customer support or parts for them. I've never heard anything good about them in the 6 years I've been riding, repairing and posting on multiple forums. I realize it was free so you want to make it run and all but it'll break down again and again most likely if it's been abused by a druggie like you said.
