Also, there is compression. Spark is a dull orange. Checking the ignition coil I found that where it seeds on to the spark plug it is broken...this is obviously an issue. So I will be buying a new ignition coil and trying that.

I can't see the video for some reason, just hear it. Sounds like it's barely turning over, maybe 1 revolution per kick.

Hmm I wonder why the video is not working... Yeah I am not sure what it could be, she doesn't want to go at all... With the kickstart I did have to move it like 5 or 6 teeth in since two of the teeth are fused together and would stop the idle gear from moving

Orange spark, you got a ground wire going to the head cover of the engine?

two teeth are supposed to be fused together, it helps hold the gear into the correct position. you are not getting enough engine turning on each kick. sounds like weak spark, i agree with katastroff, check the ground to the engine, could be the CDI or coil as well.

Where would the ground be? where is it coming from? Also, the coil where it sits on top of the spark plug is broken so it is a loose connection. I am looking at buying a new one of those, should I buy a new cdi as well (they come packaged at a decent price)?

There's suppose to be a wire bolted to one of the 4 head cover bolt that goes to the frame.

I am at work so I can not check now. But let me ask a few more questions--The ignition is totally screwed up where the key goes so that has been removed (I saw some videos where the scooter would still start with it removed) I also tried it with the ignition plugged in and just using a screwdriver as the key. Also, stupidly I never checked the kill switch. BUT if that was on then I would not get any spark at all right?
The ground wire is coming from what? I will check tonight when I get home whether there is a ground wire or not. I am guessing I need at least the new ignition coil. Is there a way to test the CDI with a multimeter? The scooter was left outside and there was no box over the battery cdi area.
Battery is dead, even when I connect a charger to it and try electric start I get nothing at all.

The ground wire goes to the frame, as close to the coil as possible.

There should be a large green or black wire running from the - side of the battery to the scooter's frame. That's the frame ground. There should also be another large green or black wire running from the frame to the engine. It's usually connected to the upper valve cover bolt on the fan side or it will connect to the upper bolt that holds the fan shroud on just above the dipstick. There is usually a small green ground that runs to the frame also. If the battery is low and you are kick starting it for that reason, it's better to remove it than to run it with a dead battery. Also, you don't need a whole new coil and wire. You can get a replacement spark plug boot. The old boot will unscrew off the wire and the new one screws on there. You can probably pick up an NGK cap at a local MC shop.

Fox, you are the man! Thank you very much. I will check this all as soon as I get home tonight.
Another question from earlier post:
"The ignition is totally screwed up where the key goes so that has been removed (I saw some videos where the scooter would still start with it removed) I also tried it with the ignition plugged in and just using a screwdriver as the key. Also, stupidly I never checked the kill switch. BUT if that was on then I would not get any spark at all right? "

The key switch is on when it's turned to the right. If the back came off with the wires attached it should have a thing that you can turn with a screwdriver. Turn it to the right til it stops and the scooter should start.
The kill switch has a circular arrow (Run) and the same circular arrow with a X (Stop)
You can jump start the engine with a car battery. Don't start the car! Hook the + lead to the + on the scooter battery and hook the - lead directly onto the engine metal like where the bottom of the rear shock mounts. Good spot right there. Then with the switches set to run, squeeze the brake lever, (either one or both) and press the start button.
If there is no battery, then just clip the jumper clamp to the two red + wires. Make sure the fuse is good.
