Sorry I been working, I was trying to stick a metal coat hanger through the exit port of muffler but nothing much came out, tomorrow I'm gonna try to put the pressure washer in there on light settings to see if water flows to the other side, we started to put all the plastic together, it's starting to look like a scooter! I went to the site you guys put in the link and started to go a little shopping, bought the air box, snorkel hose, mirrors, seat, can't wait for those to arrive, will post pictures tomorrow.

FYI, the standard for oil in the transmission on these is definitely regular motor oil. ATF is a popular standard in other chain drive mechanisms, like 4x4 chain driven transfer cases so it will probably do here, but it is not suggested by the manufacturer AFAIK. Would like to see a side-by-side comparison of the trannies with each to see if there is a noticeable difference.

Looking like it's almost ready to ride! I have bought black vinyl for less than $5 at Walmart and stretched and stapled it onto the seat- looks great and cheap too!

Not too bad. I like the knobby tire. I re-did a seat a while back and it came out pretty decent but it wasn't missing as much foam as yours. I went to a place called Jo-anne's Fabrics and found some fake leather material with a cloth backing on it and used a standard squeeze type staple gun. I got enough material to do it three times for about $12. You can glue some couch cushion foam on there. Not sure the best glue to use. Lots of videos on youtube. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UNc_LDcCGI What's going on with the kick start lever? That cracked plastic piece can be repaired several ways or you can just drill a series of holes along the crack opposite each other and run some small zip ties through them so it's not flopping around at least. Any progress on the muffler?

I rubber mallet the muffler and tried to flush the muffler out with water..... Nothing, it is very hard using a metal coat hanger as well in there, muffler was $30 at that website you guys gave me so I just decided to buy another muffler.
I am going to reflush the oil in the drive train, what is best prefer oil to use, should I use synthetic or conventional?band what weight? And I was told no smoke 2 cycle oil to use, where can I find such oil I can pick up in a store?
Thanks guys

Standard 10-30 motor oil will be sufficient for the drive chain area.
You can use any decent multi-purpose 2 stroke oil like Valvoline. Don't use cheap weed whacker oil! I used Lucas semi-synthetic in my scooter but it's like $8.50+tax per quart at my local auto parts store (Oreilly). The Valvoline, Castrol or other brands were a bit cheaper.

The Bolt that tightens the kickstand to the rod that goes into the drivetrain has snapped off inside the hole so I think I'm going to have to drill it out and get another bolt and hope everything else is okay with the kickstart mechanism.

You should be able to find decent oil at either a parts store or a motorcycle shop. I prefer synthetic, at least semi. Finding smokeless or low smoke shouldn't be difficult.

I think it was Niz that had a good cheap way to make a yellowed speedo lens clearer.
I have had decent results with a polish/wax product before. Car polish may help.

I bought a simple headlight restoration kit a long while ago and have been using that buffing pad and some "plastic restore compound" like a madman to shine up scoots! Best $25 I ever spent haha. It works awesome on our plastics to make them look 100% better, but honestly I haven't had much luck with the yellowed lenses. It does clear it up a scoch but I'm like 0 for 5 on removing the yellow. I've even gotten crazy and practically sanded through spots and never did reach clear plastic on these Chickadee China scoots... The Blue Magic is my favorite to buff out the whole scooter. The difference it makes is amazing.

You can wash the air filter with soapy water, but make sure you let it dry completely before reinstalling. If dish soap or a degreaser like Simple Green won't do it, you can get filter cleaning chemicals at parts stores or some use kerosene. Wash again with soap and water after using any of the chemicals.
Happy Birthday BTW!

Thanks guys, I washed the filter with dawn and dried it, cleaned the filter housing down and installed the housing to the scoot, funny thing is I still had to remove the snorkel hose and suffocate the carb for it to start, and even that was extremely hard to get it started, I bought PWC two stroke low smoke full synthetic oil but have not put it in the scoot, bought it at walmart for a out $15 a quart! It's was meant for boats cause it said marine two stroke, wasn't sure if I should use it on my scoot, also bought mobile 1 10w30 for drivetrain, will update with pictures soon.....
