Hi everyone! A while ago I started noticing this issue. When accelerating, more or less 1/2 full throttle, the scooter makes this noise and loses a bit of power, then recovers very quickly and works normally. I recorded this audio, seconds 16 and 24 are very good examples The only two things I did was to replace the air filter box for a K&N cone filter, and the original exhaust for a LeoVince. Could it be because there's too much air going in? Thanks for your help.

You better put the stock air box back on there til you can get some bigger main jets for the carburetor.
You can try lowering the needle clip to make the mid range bog disappear but first thing I would do is check the spark plug color.

The carburetor, nothing I can do but to change the idle, can't adjust anything else What can I do regarding the air flow?

You can use an open filter, but you need to use a larger main jet with an open filter. PFS sells main jet kits (part # 114-49) or you can find them at other retailers. Once you have the main jets you should go through a tuning process similar to what's described in the link below. www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5j8gHg5kMcSome will put tape over part of an air filter to restrict it. That may get you by if you need the scoot, but it's not a good permanent solution.

I was trying to cover a cone filter with tape before until my jets came in the mail. I ended up practically covering the whole thing in tape! It still never ran right... I've ended up with main jets over 100 on every cone filter I've tuned...
