Hello, i bought a longjia lj50qt-k scooter with the 1E40QMB for a decent price used with only 13kms on it. the previous owner kept burning out the dc cdi's. so i bought it and started trouble shooting. after ive gone all over it, i decided to make it AC fired instead if DC. i got it running good, but now i need help with the kill switch wiring. my kill switch has 3 wires, a green-ground a black/white-kill switch and a yellow/red-no idea. i got the kill switch to work with the engine, but its not connected to the key switch, so anyone could kick it over and drive away. now i need to figure out on how to wire the kill switch to the key switch without having the DC power going through the kill switch, but keep power going to my accessories from the key switch. does anyone have an idea on this?

Welcome to the forum! The only way is get wiring diagrams for both systems and rewire to suit the AC system.I think the DC system is battery powered so the off position kills battery power,on AC grounding the iggy system kills it,so it'll likely take a bit of rewiring to get it right..Good Luck!!

i have most of the wiring done, i can start the scoot with either the kick or electric starter. its that i just cant shut the engine off with the key switch, i can with the kill switch, just not the key switch. with the key off, i can start with kick start, with key on i can start with electric starter. id rather not have to buy a new key switch if i can.

Alright! i figured out what i had to do with my key switch, and it was really simple. so now i got my scooter back to 100% functionality. now i just have to wait until the snow melts some so i can get it out of where i have it stored. now that i got it working, i cant wait to drive it and start building the engine for more power and speed.
