Ok so I bought a complete stroker motor from STG and I had to swap all my gears and output shaft, the gears spin smoothly and freely, the output shaft on the other hand is very tight and hard to spin, the bearing that came in the motor that the shaft goes in was so tight that I couldn't spin it and I had to give it about 5k rpm to get moving so I took it back apart took that bearing out and put the stock one back in and it still is tight but able to spin it by hand I now have to give it about 3800-4000rpm to get moving I don't think this is right and I believe it's effecting my speeds any ideas

Most likely the gasket is too thin. Ran into the same problem with a Diamo Velux. The gasket needs to be 0.030" min thick or it would bind up

The gasket between the gear cases? And I thought it was a lot tougher to spin once I put it back together each time.

I put a different gasket on it only measured .02 I also took all the gears out and put everything back together, I might of had the thrust washer in the wrong spot idk but it is spinning super smooth and freely now
