It's very common for the tanks to leak at the sensor. You can try wrapping the sensor in Teflon tape or clean it up and rtv it in. Or for a sure fire fix.... Wait here it is.... Premix Ive been wanting to pre mix just cant find that amsoil sabre mix anywhere in my county lol. I did have the arrow pointed down towards the exhaust on the piston. Ill play with it some more today after work!!

Check for a head or cylinder base leak. If you've had the intake apart check for an air leak there also. You shouldn't be soft seizing running that rich and if you are down jetting will make it worse.

I have never had the intake apart as my frame is a bitch to work around, and I dont have a shop or anything to take the engine off the frame.

Took the cylinder off today to double check the piston, is was properly installed but the piston rings came un-compressed. Is that normal? Theres alot ALOT of scratches up n down the piston and cylinder. Can I re-install without doing any sanding etc? Ports in the piston n cylinder still look brand new.

If you take the cylinder off the rings will uncompress... won't have tension on them... if that's what you mean. You just have to position them so the gaps line up with the locator pins in the ring lands and hold some pressure on them when reinstalling.
Scratches/scuffs are normal, especially when you've soft seized. As long as there's nothing deep it will prob be alright.

Another thing, yesterday I couldnt get my scoot started, all I heard was that shot of air coming out of the muffler every once in a while. Today I put the exhaust on, 105 MJ and the stock airbox back on, figured out with a little force it would fit! But still wouldnt start, I had spark, fuel might be my issue as id take the airbox off and block all the air intake and no fuel would hit my palm, but I just replaced my fuel petcock & filter last month, anything else I should look for? Brent, any plans on adding in a section for scoot tuning addiction?

See if the plug is wet after you try to start it. If not, maybe a quick shot of carb cleaner or starting fluid and see if it fires. Check compression.

So I ripped out the oil tank & pump today. Premix is in, carb is all clean and new fuel petcock. The piston is all working properly, and crank. Ill kick start the scooter, and it sounds like it wants to start, but won't. Compression sounds about right, and I cleared the intake. Any other ideas?

Just a thought- has it run correctly since you installed the BBK? Just thinking about the arrow on the piston and how it's supposed to point toward the exhaust... Do you have any starting fluid or carb cleaner you spray into the airbox or into the spark plug hole and try starting it that way?

Do you have any starting fluid or carb cleaner you spray into the airbox or into the spark plug hole and try starting it that way? Sprayed carb cleaner on both, nothing. The arrow is directed towards the exhaust. It hasnt ran correctly since I blew my piston/cylinder before I put my 70cc on.

70cc with a staock airbox and exhaust should be about a 80 or 85 main jet and a/f screw turned out maybe 1 to 1 1/2 maybe two turns... Sound like your setup??
