I keep looking at that headpipe. Where did your pipe guru got it from because it looks exactly like one off a Kundo F1...which are already quie rare over here let alone over there. Or is it from a Yasuni c20? I think he said it was from a Kundo actually. Thats funny. It was an expansion chamber. It's definitely fatter than my c20 though. I'll hopefully get it welded soon.

The Permatex CopperCoat is a popular head sealer here, mask off the combustion chamber before spraying.K&W also makes it in a brush top can, easier to apply; crcindustries.com/auto/?s=401516

Thanks 190mech. I've been searching for that info… Off to the auto parts store tomorrow.

Busted out my donor engine from a Gtx turbocam. Stator and advanced ignition woodruff key installed. Had to file the key down a little for it to fit.

Cylinder finally set up. No head gasket. Sealed with copper head spray. I'll probably spray the cylinder and head with flat black bbq paint to aid cooling.

Now I'm seeing how the Overrange Kit fits. It's tight but it clears so far (with out the belt on). I'm contemplating the set up. I think I read somewhere on here, so I'll try; my stock center spring, malossi yellow small springs?, 7.5 gram weights. I'll be running a ported aluminum 103cc, 54mm bore w/ 45mm full circle crank, 28mm Oko , PG long exhaust, 6.84:1 gearing. ANY SUGGESTIONS? Where should I start on the Overrange tuning? [/url

I think you have a good starting point with what you have. Stock clutch springs may be fine for the clutch due to the higher torque of the 103 motor, but that is some pretty low gearing so the yellow springs may be just right.
I had trouble finding a CVT cover that would fit over the Malossi OR, but you can always grind them out if needed.
I cant wait to hear what you got!

I use soft contra springs in all of my OR setups (stock to 1000RPM). My mild (8-9K) 103cc uses ~12g. My old 103cc that was a higher rev setup (10-11K) used 8g. The OR needs a little less clutch spring stiffness than a standard CVT.

I've never seen a Malossi delta clutch in person- but is that an adjustment to stretch the springs?
