Yeah I have fresh high octane gas in there.

Well, if you have spark, fuel and compression then the damn thing should start unless of course you have too much fuel, spark at the wrong time, or low compression. Have you tried spin starting the engine with a power drill? That may get it going. www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpCm9railsYAs mentioned before, if there is fuel running down the vacuum line directly to the intake boot then it's flooding the engine which is not a good thing.

I pulled the vacum line off the intake, it was leaking gas out.....the fuel petcock must be the problem as you guys mentioned. I'm going to the scooter store tomorrow to get a new one. Should be finally riding, I appreciate all your guys help. Hopefully this is all....this scooter was farm fresh when I got it.

You mentioned it was hard to crank it over with the kickstart almost like there was crazy compression you were fighting against. I'd make sure all the gas is out of the cylinder first before trying to start it again once you get the problem fixed. You could be hydro-locking your engine. Go to autozone or advance auto parts or whatever auto store you have and replace the vacuum petcock with a manual petcock. They are usually there under the small engine section like for lawn mowers. About $5. Get rid of that thing as fast as you can chuck it out the back yard! Apparently they are very prone to failure and you are having the exact same problem I had except mine would start but it would only go about 10 mph. I threw $200 in parts at my scooter including a 50mm big bore kit, new carburetor, A9 cam, Gates Kevlar belt, sliders and rollers, etc.. and to find out all the time it was just a simple $5 petcock replacement. Of course now I've got my scooter going about 45 mph or more (haven't taken it out on a flat stretch of road yet)!!! More or less gave me a reason to make a mini muscle scooter and my wife thinks it's all to fix the problem! Also, make sure you report back to let us know!

It doesn't matter Silar. Cranking the engine will blow it all out the exhaust port and it will evaporate in the pipe.
You can make it run by puncturing the petcock so fuel flows freely out of either nipple on there and hook that one to the carb and plug off the other one. Gotta cap off the vacuum port on the intake too.

I changed the fuel petcock valve and still won't start....I'm thinking now that it could be something in the engine like a broken piston ring. I took the oil dipstick out and oil started pouring out of the dipstick hole....there is built up pressure, what all could cause this? I oulled the hose off of the valve cover that goes to the air intake. The scooter started right up and was running but then oil started to shoot out of the valve cover hole. Do you guys know what this means? I think I bought a POS and the engine might need to be rebuilt.

Not sure exactly, but you could get a decent 47mm big bore kit for around $40-$50 and put that in, or opt to get rings, seals, etc but you still are not sure about the valves and everything else. I'd do the kit since that'll replace pretty much your entire top end and it's cheap.

Thanks Silar, I'm just going to get the kit as you suggested, I'm betting it's the piston but like you said might as well replace everything for the price. I found a kit on eBay for $50 I'm going to order..here is the kit, any differenc in these? pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=181311419148 They seem pretty standard to me May be a little while before I get it and install but I'll check back once I'm done. Or this one..,the 100cc but I'm wondering if the carb I just got would be enough for this..http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=330459445932. I've also noticed that some kits ha e a 64mm valve and some have a 69mm valve, how do I figure out which one I need? I want to make sure I get the right thing

If you get a BBK kit that comes with the head you won't need to worry about valve length as the parts will be a matched set. May want to do a bit of homework on the risks of running the big "100cc" BBK before committing to it (crank failures). You can use the stock carb no problem with the BBK's but a bigger one might get a little more performance..

What about the rocker arm? These kits do not come with them, I thought they were specifice to size. I already ordered a kit with a 69mm valve, hope this works. And the valve cover...I read somewhere that the covers are specific to valve size

I opted not to go with the 69mm valve lengths and get this... 02starider BBK 50mm kitYou may want to get one of the 47mm kits instead of the 50mm kit if you plan on riding the scooter at WOT all the time.

Thanks guys....I was originally going to go with 100cc but a lot of people are saying it is too much for these little scooters....I'm mostly going to ride around on the weekends close by. If you go with the 100cc is there anything else you should do. I read that it can be hard on your crankshaft. This seller does not have an 80cc kit available.

When I installed a 50mm kit I took 90GTVert suggestion and "detuned" the engine by installing heavy roller weights that limit RPM...
