Cell phone signal indicator. It means there's an incoming call on a nearby cell phone. It could be your phone or it could be the guy next to you at the red light.

I was thinking its a light to tell you that the accessory outlet is in use (if you have no 9v outlet in the scoot then I guess it cant be lol).

Those Chinese Scooter people are silly. Going to call my scoot right now! Lol. Made a phone call when my scooter was on & phone light turned on , almost fell off it laughing so hard! Why couldn't they put a dinner is ready light on it? That would benefit me! Lol.Thanks for the answer Fox !

I think it's a very convenient thing, I always get missed calls while riding.

Thanks for the answers guys. I thought it looked like a cell phone, thought I'd look stupid asking what it was! That is pretty funny though!

Isnt the whole going riding thing to get away from phone calls etc.? & I was thinking they put it on the 2t scoots so the 4t guys can call to catch up to your location after they got left behind?

Isnt the whole going riding thing to get away from phone calls etc.? Glad to see someone else posting this. I often feel like I'm the only one that sees getting out and riding or driving not as piloting a mobile office, but a way to escape the BS of regular life and enjoy the ride.

Yeah, that's why I ride, to get AWAY from society. There's something almost spiritual about getting out of the city and enjoying riding on the back roads for me. I think I got the "scooter" bug!

Well if it's any consolation I have seen many of these lights on a lot of scooters that didn't work at all. Go China!

Being mobile, or just busy (tuning the clutch )...... we all should take a stand, and not fall prey to some twat offering a free survey on one's household electrical consumption. Worse.... I've started getting recorded message calls, suggesting I need an astrological assessment (what!). A guy in the UK changed his phone number and went ex-directory, and also bought a 'pay phone line' and at every opportunity, he publicised it as his home phone. Apparently it became a very interesting side line...... his methodology was to simply string them along. In such a scenario, an 'incoming money' alert, might be fun. "Hello" yinnnnng "can you speak up" yyyyiiiiinnnng
