Today I decided to see if I can get the ZX-R to fit to my aerox. But it was a complete mess/IQ-test, which I unfortunately failed.
I got:
2 different top bracket parts
2 different bottom bracket parts
6 bolts or so
4 nuts
2 large aluminium cylinders/spacers
a bunch of washers
2 completely different exhaust gaskets
I felt like a monkey in a lab. A stupid one!! Got it mounted at last, but must have been the wrong bracket build - was leaking like hell from exhaust port.
Can someone please check what 2 parts you use in combination to create the black mounting bracket? On the back side of them, there is a ID-code for the parts, please, pretty please post the two numbers you use for horizontal minarelli.
Also, do you use a flat exhaust gasket or a cylinder shaped?
Regards!

The way to fit ANY pipe is bolt the pipe to the exhaust flange(no gasket),shift tail end of pipe as needed to align mount brackets, torque up Ex flange bolts, now make the rear bracket mounts fit with out bending or stressing the pipe in any way!Hog out the bracket holes or add spacers as needed.Once you are happy with the fit add a thin well fitting gasket(if even needed) to the exhaust flange.Torque up the whole mess starting with the Ex flange working back..Go ride the crap out of it doing wheelies, burn outs and doughnuts in somebodies yard, outrun the cops, let it cool down, then retorque everything...Got it??

yeah I had trouble with the tecnigas bracket that came with my exhaust. Ended up having someone hold the exhaust flush with the flange and saw that it didn't fit with both of the mounting bracket bolts in, only fit with one. So I took that one and screwed it in but not all the way, then torqued the exhaust studs and tightened up the mounting plate.

Yeah just installed with one bolt it seems to do just fine have no problems with it. Its probably less than half the weight of the stock pipe so keep that in mind.

Today I got it fit, I had to use the correct combination of 2 out of the 4 bracket parts, AND one of the large spacers (~2cm thick) on the TOP engine block hole. The 2 bracket parts to NOT USE (NOT USE) have numbers 300175501 and 080181004. So use the 2 other bracket parts, use the spacer in the top mounting hole (between the top bracket part and the engine case), and I used a circular gasket. Using this particular combination, resulted in correct angle between cylinder exhaust port and the exhaust pipe flange not to leak, while several other combinations were possible to fit, but would leak.
This entire crap took me two sessions in total of over 2 hours of frustration - I hope to save someone some time by posting this. It is a good practice to post your solutions for others =)

you want just the round metal gasket not one the bolts run through. I lost exhaust stud local shop left out round gasket and put the metal/fiber kind in and it leaked like crazy. They thought mine that was made for the leo was two of the other kind melted together, I don't go to kiss my gas scooters anymore. haha should have known better than to let someone else work on my ride!
