I think you're alright with what I can see missing there. Shouldn't cause anything major. If you can't feel the crank pulling in and out or up and down it's prob alright as far as play. Could be a runout issue I suppose, but that's gonna be tough to measure unless you've got a dial indicator and I still think a wheel/tire issue is more likely.

bendover, Hello, it's been 3 years, but can you update us if you were able to solve this issue? Sure thing! Sold it long time ago, but unfortunately never found out why it vibrated at high rpm. Or even if it was normal vibrations or not, but it felt wrong, unbalanced somehow. Alternative solution: I ended up using a setup for lower rpm, I actually used stock exhaust. I had a mid rpm exhaust zx-r too, but I actually enjoyed low end power / takeoff at reasonable rpm so it all worked out great. The top speed suffered a bit, but who cares if it's 82 kph or 87 or whatever. Much more enjoyable.

Some vibrations are caused by worn / broken parts. Sometimes a mod like yours will induce some sort of harmonics where a combination of parts just don't work well togather. If the problem is specific to a certain rpm or speed then it probably is some sort of harmonics Even manufacturers can have problems with certain designs not behaving. Here's a link to a Yamaha solution. link

I've noticed this when i get brand new scooters mainly 2 stroke at about 25 mph holding throttle there's a vibration feeling or noise kinda u just know it cus u feel it though its not intense its noticeable it seems the happen when u accelerate and hold throttle at like 3/8 and its like wur wur wur wur wur through handle bars seat i came to the conclusion this is some type of break in relation because after the next couple hundred miles it does stop....
