If you go on a pavement eating rampage, your carb will be the least of your concern. That is SO freaking true man. Back tire blew out on me once on a really hot day at around 35mph. Shorts, T-shirt, flip flops..... Tried to steer for the grass but hit the hot road instead. So much fun....... I didn't care if that bike stayed right there on the side of the effin road or caught on fire. I just wanted all my skin back. lol.

I've already taken a bit of skin off just turning a corner into an oil spot. In know it can get really bad.

It was pretty bad for me. Took quite a bit of skin off both knees and my elbows. Took about a month to heal.

My only true concern about the entire thing is what would happen of I eat pavement. Two jars of water tipped over with my engine stuck sucking on them sounds like a very bad day indeed. Any thoughts on ways to prevent that other than NOT falling over? Here is your #1 piece of advise. DON'T CRASH! But if that's not viable, then maybe you should become a bit more experienced rider before strapping a potential bomb on your scoot. Just my thoughts on the topic.

I tipped it turning into my apartment complex where they are doing construction. They have a dumpster sitting to where I could not possibly have seen that oil spot. I was going 5 MPH. It scuffud me pretty good, though that isn't the point.
I'm just trying to find cheap performance. If it doesn't work out then that's OK. Doesn't mean I won't try.
