It is a problem with scooters. My wife's scooter is quite big even for a 125cc, and she still has trouble.

Here you can usually easily see where the sensor loops are. I have been putting my side stand down right on top of the epoxy they use to fill in the crack where loop is.

If after stopping there's no traffic and no cops I proceed through intersection here in his one horse town. There's only one light on the edge of town @ Wal Mart that has this problem.

If you cant get the light to change, chances are traffic is verrry lite. I'm from mi and I just wait a cycle for a car to come behind me but alot of the time id be turning left so even if a car came 50/50 itd go straight id still be stuck lol(big intersection, like 7-8 lanes). I just go when i can, nvr been stopped but im sneaky.

Check your state laws. Most of the time you just have to wait and turn when traffic allows since the traffic signal is 'malfunctioning'. The traditional sensors are a loop of wire that senses when iron or steel material is inside it. They are just a big proximity sensor and have adjustments. There are other types of sensors that can be installed. Call the city etc that owns the traffic signal and report the malfunction. Don't expect much 'action' unless you actually live in that city.

yep, never messed with those "triggers' you see for sale; if there's no roller around (and no redlight camera), I just go.

Well, when I was a wee lad my mum tought me to look both ways before crossing a traffic way. As I got older I got the Fox attitude. No cops no stops. I live in Reno,Nevada and they passed a law that motorcycles and bicyclist can run the light after the second go around. But I have that drag racer gene and go on yellow. I've even ran a light with, not knowing, a motorcycle cop was directly behind me. I saw him as I was turning through the intersection. He did absolutely nothing. ... By the way, what is a traffic light?

I've just pulled up a little to let the car behind me go over the sensor... never gave a thought about not having a car behind me though...
