Hi guys, I'm new here and i want to ask if somebody was having a small gas leak between the seams of the accelerator pump, i ordered and installed a new carb and I'm still having the same problem, the vacuum petcock is OK, it's not leaking, before i replaced the carb i also put new gas lines and fuel filter(observed the flow direction). The scooter runs great but after riding, a small amount of gas drips out. By the way it's a gy6 50cc four stroke scooter.

That's right, today i removed the cap with these two screws securing it, and used 400 grit sandpaper and sanded it down so it fits flush with the float bowl, looks like it's not leaking anymore but i will test it in the next few days, by the way the squirt-er was clogged and building pressure over the pump, that probably caused the leaking along with warped cap, but i don't know why a brand new carb leaks (probably a faulty unit).

OK, didn't mean to insult you by pointing that out. Sometimes misunderstandings happen on the forum from people using different terms.
It seems really strange that 2 carbs in a row would do it. I personally have not had 1 leak there. If it continues, check out the little o-ring in there as well.
