Sounds like ya got gremlins in there...make sure you didn't accidently knock loose a wire/connector while changing the inline petcock im usually good for that one.

Removed most of the body panels and conducted a compression test. I don't think I did it right as I was getting a reading of 65 ish. I rechecked all connections and even pulled apart the side stand kill switch just to be thorough! I reinstalled the spark plug and turned the engine over, I used the kick start as the battery was not fitted, it fired into life!! I let it run for a few seconds and then switched it off. I reinstalled all the panels and the battery and started it off the electric starter first time. Rode it around for 15 min and it seemed fine.
I have no idea what I did to fix it. The scoot is back to how it was before the start of this latest modification adventure.
