How do you get to the rear turn signal to replace a bulb, do I have to take off the side panels? or take out the bucket under the seat doe any one know, my front left turn signal works but the back one isn't blinking. right all is fine on the right side.

Pretty sure it's because there is no easy way. You gotta remove the little curved plastic piece above the license plate, two lower side panels, the rear rack and the the rear plastics to get the light assy off then the bulbs sockets come out the back side of the light by twisting them. The rear plastics consist of three pieces held together by the piece at the gas cap. You take all three pieces off as one unit. You are going to need to learn how to tear it apart eventually so you might as well just get in there and do it. Just take your time. Once you get the screws out holding the lower side panels slide them backward to release from the uppers.

I switched mine over and use a whole different custom setup and I honestly can't remember exactly what was required to access the bulb so I didn't comment because I'd prefer not to misinform you if I'm incorrect. I figured someone else would have a clear recollection since these are popular scoots. If you look below the brake light section there's a small panel that can be removed with 2 screws IIRC. Then I know you can take out screws and remove the brake light cover to change that bulb, but I can't remember if you can get the side lenses off to access the signal bulbs or not from there. There may be screws for the signal covers you can see from there. This may be of some use (don't take the whole scooter apart, but sections may be helpful) : www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FVDfP4o9m8

Thanks Fox, and 90gtVert, a lot of tearing apart for making sure a bulb hasn't loosened or burnt out. the filament still looks good thru the lens.

It's been a while since I took one apart and after watching Brents awesome video, I think maybe you can just remove the little piece above the license plate and then remove the two screws holding the lens for the light assy and get the lenses off to replace the bulbs Maybe. I can't tell if the rear plastic piece around the gas cap is going to be in the way or not. It's not a bad idea to remove all the plastics anyway and go through the engine bay making sure things are tight and wires/hoses are zip tied up nice and not pinched.

thanks Fox, I will give it a try, when we have some days that aren't going to be stormy. I also may call the dealership and get a heads up of the fastest way. I can see some screws on the side of the lens cap underneath the side panels, but maybe the unit like you say can be removed from just the back. It seems logical, but then this is a Chinese product.

well I did get in thru the back taking off a few screws, took the bulb out thru the front and the socket part fell into the back inside was able to bring back up with some chopsticks of all things but I noticed some broken black plastic like it went around a screw or something, then I was able too twist the socket with some tweezers but when I twisted the bulb in the socket kept falling back inside the bike, finally I did get a bulb in but I noticed I blew a fuse on the bike so then I had to work on that, changed the fuse but the light didn't work it kept falling out. then I rode around trying to find 15amp fuses, my local hardware didn't have them , the gas station , and wally world no glass fuses. wally world had fuses but they were like 2amp. since I'm under warranty I guess the dealer can deal with this.
