Id say to deff consider cutting or whatever you have to do to run the hose correctly!!! Also if I let mine idle for say an hour it only climes to 135degree F without the fan running, if I leave the fan on it won't go past 100F

If the cooling system is connected in the wrong direction and air flow is hindered by the rad mount position, what do you think my answer is??I have seen rads mounted sideways, under seats, etc on many successful race motorcycles,,there is no reason for you to be killing your engine with this installation..Remember "where there is a will, there is a way" and "never say never"!!Could the rad be mounted under the floor in front of cylinder at an angle? What about under a rear side panel with a nice inlet duct? The possibilities are great, you just gotta put on your thinking cap and figure a better way..Wish I lived closer,we could have a cool running engine in a few hours!!

If it idles for say 15 minutes, ti goes down to around 150f .
There is really no other spacetpmount the rad.

Managed to cut the hose and rerouted them correctly. But temps could still go to 240f tops on wot.
Average is still around 220 when I go 47mph

I think you need to verify the accuracy of that gauge with a IR gun. 240 is pretty hot. My ac motor would run 260-280 but your LC. What size is that radiator? Is it the stock one?

Yea something isn't right. It certainly shouldn't ever get past 210 at the maX.. Ehh just don't get it, it's all set up correctly ......mmmm? When in doubt get 190mech's option..!!!!

It doesn't look like there is open space behind it. You need to open up the rear for hot air discharge. This is how mine is set up

I'm saving up some money to pay some one in here back before I buy the ir gun.
The radiator is a 200cc go kart radiator.
Unfortunately again there's no way to open the back end or my leg will be exposed to air.

Well dang yea that is exactly why it is running hotter heck it ain't getting no air at all right there!!! Mmmm? I would certainly cut the leg sheikd to get air threw it, mine has half inch holes drilled in it and it seems to work really well....

I don't think wedging a fan between the rad and plastics would do any good. You still need a place for the hot air to move away from the radiator. Maybe if you used a strong fan and custom built a shroud to route the air from the back of the radiator to an open spot where the fan moved it out? That sounds way harder to me than looking for a new spot to mount the radiator or cutting plastics to allow more airflow. I understand that you say there are no alternative spots and you probably don't want to cut up that nice looking scoot or are worried about the air on your legs, but at some point something's gonna have to change if you expect it to run cool. This is all assuming the temps are accurate.
I'm sure these fellas can tell ya if the air from the radiator is an issue on their legs. I've never rode a setup like that. I know from bikes that sometimes air is pushed out of an opening in the fairings by the fan and it's uncomfortable in the summer heat, but it's nothing that's going to burn you. It would probably be kinda nice in the winter. There would probably be a way to get creative if you can find an elbow/bend of some sort that could be attached to the plastics to direct the air away from you. If you were to make a round hole behind the radiator, you could prob do something with PVC if all else failed. If you could come up with something like that and manage to make it removable you could blow the air away from you in the summer and let it hit you in the winter.

Well so far the air on my legs isn't too bad, even when it was 100degrre out I just had to stick my legs out to the side so it wouldn't be so hot and all, but heck in the winter it's been a nice lil HeAter to keep me warm!!! I mean it's a 160 degree air blowing right at my legs with the fan on...so ... Yea I like it anyway Ha I have had people say when they hear my loud ass radiator fan( does that moped have AC??)!lmao I say no it's a turbo.!!!! Muwhaahha some people crack me up
As gt90 said the fan would be useless without a way to get air flowing threw the radiator.!
