when i got mt 2 bashans in crates, i was told by the dealer to drop the shipping oil and install new.. i did that,, i ask if the rear 80-90 grease was ok. he said it did not have to be touched.. in the manual it says change it at initial prep. what do you think???

Change the gear oil too. It usually is some kind of cheap oil made just for the shipping.

It's always a good idea to drop it and put fresh in. Heard quite a few stories of dey crankcase a and gearbox's at initial delivery. You'll know it's full and has good quality lube in it ??
