I rode in today and for some reason the Elite decided to run smooth as silk today.. On the way in it felt slow to me because I been riding the FZ-09 all weekend, but on the way home it felt great Plus it was a nice 39 degrees instead of 32. I was also thinking how spoiled I am to have a "fast" scoot to commute on, I'm afraid that the project "Zog" might feel lack luster compared to the Elite once I get it all sorted out.

BUMP!!
I ride to work every morning at 4:30am, if its not raining. A drizzle wont stop me from riding, but a steady rain will create massive puddles on these uneven Ky. roads.
People around here must think ALL scooters are slow 49cc machines. I get tailgated or cut off at least once a day around here. I love the look on the face of the driver that rides my ass and passes me at fourty, when I fly back around him at sixty!!

Some guy in a fixed up Lexus IS300/ Toyota Altezza decided to race me today. He just had to be in front of me... Too bad he had to wait at the stoplight with all the other cagers while I zipped to the front of the line

Unfortunately I work from home, but on the decent days I do find time to ride either solo or with friends. On the not so decent work days I step away from the computer from time to time to work on scooter projects(mine or others)

At least it's not your only ride. That would blow.

At least it's not your only ride. That would blow. I personally try to keep at least 2 scooters road ready. Even if one is always a slow stroke...

I just put a zx pipe and 17mm carb on a stock jog I picked up. I would say it cruises at 45 mph. I rode it to work yesterday so make sure it's road worthy for the wife. I rode my 100cc jog today, what a difference! It's not nearly as smooth as the other jog however. It was 43 outside, not too bad

I ride it when it runs and the weather isn't complete crap. I'd ride my moped more if the carb wasnt an asshole.

I rode to work and then Hooters. Only two people tried to kill me. Which was actually an improvement over yesterday.

Got back on the elite today!! It was great but temps dropped back into the 30s so that kinda sucked, but still had fun commuting.

Had to run downtown and back before riding to work on an unimaginable time frame in traffic. So I did something new, I drove recklessly! Boy was that exhilarating! I'm usually a cautious and courteous driver, but tonight I pulled out all the stops! Tomorrow when I head home I'll be careful and lame again...
