to stall out whatever reason it seems to just act like it ran out of gas.. but i know it has almost a full tank.. and it really only happened about 10 mins after i put new gas in..but i use premium e/i91 and above could that also be it?? i use premium because it so cheap right now its only 1.90 or so..

That's what your supposed to use is premium , not supposed to use regular gas it will ruin the engine.

My understanding is that using regular is what ur supposed to use because the differences of how china and the U.S. rates the Octane is a difference of about 20-30 points so it would normally be regular..so im not sure about it but either way im not sure what it can be because it driving great in the cold but later in the day it starts to stall. Any ideas

i have 2 of them, never seen a engine so sensitive on fuel setting. when they were new, one had a defective carb, the dealer swapped for a new one . it has the fuel adjust screw. the other is stock, and cant adjust. it is set rich, it will also kill if you gun it just a little. i have learned to turn up the idle to compensate. i don't like the idle this high but it is a cure. the one i can adjust i have dialed in, and you cant kill it if you tried. if you cant find any problem. get the fuel screw out an slot it so you cad adjust, or turn up the idle.. steve and----------

The higher the octane the slower the burn, that's what you want, if you use regular gas it burne quicker which may cause the air ,fuel to explode in the cylinder . This is called pinging . That what ruins the engine or piston. You want slow expanding burn. You said you put a bigger carb on . Is it a stock size cylinder? If so what size jet is in the carb, Mabey your getting to much fuel

im not sure whatever it came with.. but im thinking on getting a new exhuast and a pod filter would that be able to compensate a bit for the bigger jet?

Yes , just make sure you get the air ,fuel mixture right. You don't wanna burn lean ,that's what makes it run to hot and will destroy the piston ,cylinder and Mabey the rest of engine. You should find the information you neen in the library tech on this site.
