Ask questions were are here to help. We were all beginners once. Likely an air leak. Get that fixed and jetting squared away and you'll be smoking the 4 strokes in no time. Don't go to the dark side, they require oil changes and valve adjustments yuck! Don't give up there is still hope.

It sucks, I won't even work on it, I feel like I'm cheating on the 2t even thinking about doing an oil change!!! 4t suck!! Lol

No one has written the perfect two stroke performance reference but many here, including me, have learned a great deal from this book. You can find it downloadable online too. I just find the paper version more useful.

AG Bell and Gordan Jennings books are highly recommended to anyone wanting to learn about 2 strokes and as suggested get em in old fashioned book form.I retread Jennings regularly.You probably smarter than me but neither are books you just read and fully grasp they are to be used in conjunction with practical experience.2 strokes are just fun compared to the lawn mower engined gy6.
