Yeah, I worked on a Beamer with it, and it seemed quite easy to start even when it was out of tune a bit.

Wow. I was gonna order the Polaris stuff and then just use a Stage 6 choke to mount wherever. The parts on the site I showed add up to $32.28 for what I want, then you put 'em in the cart and it would cost $103.08 all of the sudden. I thought I'd get those and the Stage 6 choke for less than the Eton kit, guess not. Other sites don't do that, but they all add up $10 or so higher than what the posted one advertises. One of the cheaper spots still ended up around $70 shipped for just the carb parts. Add in the $20 Stage 6 choke cable and lever and that's almost $100 to convert. The Eton setup is about $60 shipped on eBay. I asked about just getting the carb pars and not the new controls and they said you can't get it that way. Definitely not worth that sort of money for what little I'll use it.

On that site you have to order some of the parts in packs of ten; So I was thinking you could...
1. Buy set of 10 of parts # 20 - 28. 2. Set up kits. 3. Post on eBay as well as here. 4. Profit.
Definitely would need to figure out the numbers to see if it would be worth it.
My pre-order payment is ready though, if you're down!

I'm broke right now trying to get T1 and T2 together. I decided to just wire the autochoke back in for T2. Stock carb probably won't stay long anyway. I might do that at some point though.

Was hoping, we could get a little light over on this thread regarding auto choke, on stock 40qmb carb links didn't seem to be working on the previous posts in this thread.

I might have something. Its going to be genuine parts just like the OE options so probably won't be that cheap even if I can supply it.. Anybody with a micrometer and some time please let me know the details and I can find out.

Yeah I'm noticing even for the name brand carbs, some conversion kits are $200 I was hoping I could just find a manual hand screw knob thingy for it but seems my life won't get easier when it comes to that. my moped has a manual choke aswell ... it's basically a plate that covers the intake and you just flick it with your hand. Why couldn't there be something like this!? LMAO that's why I reall applaud all you guys for these conversion kits for LC and stuff. Seems I have a couple years of homeworks to do

Wonder if it'd be feasible to order the appropriate model Chinese eBay clone carb just for the choke mechanism?

You mean to order a clone carb with a manual choke? And ditch the stock?

So I checked prices and we do have a few types of genuine Mikuni pull up choke assemblies from $12-$19 each.
They use a flat end, not a needle end right?

I'm not quite sure the difference, my apologies knobby. I only took a picture of my carb, here it is... I'll find a picture of the actual enricher online....
Edit update: here's the exact enricher that I have... I assume this is what you would consider a needle? I wasn't sure which part you were referring.

Wow that is huge. Yes, that is the needle type. I'll take a look but I don't think I can supply anything to help.
