So as to belt sizes they are pretty standard. And no you do not need a longer one. If you want it to travel further you must tune it to do so. Here is a link to what belt sizes there are. www.49ccscoot.com/faq/whatbelt.html

As far as a reputable seller that's harder to say for sure. You see I have heard that there are fake belts out there. I would think that perhaps ordering form say one of our sponsors would be safe. Say scrappydogscooters.com As to witch belt brand I have heard good things about Bando and Gates powerlink.

I put it back together right. I followed steps exactly to the T. Last belt broke tonight and cvt was smoking crazy I will check it out in the morning.

So my new belt came in the mail today swapped out that red contra spring and put back in stock spring. Put everything back together and no belt break this far first day back on the scoot so you know I went for a ride and prepared myself for a walk back if needed. I rode around about 10/15 miles so it's already passed the last couple belts break point. Thus far I believe it was the spring it had to Be to stiff somehow. I also don't feel that stutter @ take offs I spoke about b4.

I will take it for a couple more spins around the block and pull cover and check belt again. To make sure it looks OK in there

So I gave it a spin just for a lil bit yesterday and went out early today and being that I just cleaned the cvt I know I could c the bare case and cover so I pulled cover to find grease on cvt cover. It probably was from those o rings on torque driver not sitting properly. But the belt looks fine thus far. I give @ least a week of consistent checking the cvt if the belt doesn't break then it could've been that contra spring that was destroying belts.

You will want to pull the torque driver repack with grease and reseal. No grease in there is a bad thing just waiting to happen.

I searched on Google for gy6 clutch transmission pulley oil seals, all that comes up is crank shaft and gear box seals. Or it there something I can put over them to help seat & seal them.

I too wish the o'rings were easier to find for these things. Maybe some guru here can post all the correct sizes in the tech section maybe. That would allow us to order o'rings on the cheap! I personally need them for a torque driver and the intake. But having them all in one place just for the looking would be great.

I have used Permatex Ultra Grey to seal my torque driver cover to the pulley when spewing grease. I put a small amount of the bottom of the cover that slides over the torque driver. Then I install it and go around the edge like I'm caulking. Let it cure before using.
Another thought would be to measure the o-rings or take one out and see if you can find matching o-rings for sale in a hardware or auto parts store or in an assortment. Even HF carries assortments. I've never measured mine to tell you if they are anything common though.
BTW, it's very common for me to see evidence of grease escaping on a fresh clean and regrease. If I only see splatter marks and no actual grease sitting around, I don't even bother to pull it apart. I've had them sling grease and when it was bad enough that I needed to redo it, it was in in my clutch bell making the clutch slip and a clear line on the cover of grease.
