The tapered headpipe likely gives it the 'hit' everybody likes,,be neat to look at the insides with an endoscope... I did put my endo camera in to take a peak, there is nothing special inside. Just a baffle thats attached to the exhaust tip. The rest is all open, no chambering. I think oldgeek mentioned this also.

I agree with moofus02 lighter rollers stiffer contra and heavier clutch springs. On my Elite Im running the same Corsa/ PG short combo you are with great success. Your problem is in the CVT Im almost sure of it. I had the same issue as you did when I first got my PG short, I resolved the issue with lighter rollers. I am going to revisit this project in the next couple weeks. I have been a little busy with a few jobs I have going on here.

Well Iv decided to revisit this pipe. It had some fitment issues I finally got worked out.
I got the pipe back on and it fitsthe way it should of the first time. LOL
My first ride was a disappointment. Vid quality sucks, this is more for hearing it run. It was missing horribly. The more I opened it up the worse it got. I slowly had to open the throttle to keep from misfiring/breaking down. Much better. (High res video w/Turkey Vulture encounter) I swapped the clutch springs from the "silver" Polini to the Malossi "red". I also changed the spark plug which fixed the misfire issues. The setup I currently have, this pipe will not wake up till it hits 6200 to 6500 rpm.
