Push start only works after a ride or if is charging for hours on the trickle charge here's a video of it on the multimeter my next video will be of it cranking off a charge it's frustrating to keep unhooking my battery after a drive Kick start lever is in the mail so this is my only way of cranking till thursday

Ok...once again.... Take a set of battery cables. (use either the positive or the negative cable only) Connect one end directly to the battery NEGATIVE terminal. Clamp the other end directly to the motor. (MUST be a steel part like the head or a bolt) Try to start the scooter again. If it cranks over like a champ, you most likely have a bad ground. Run a ground cable (10 gauge) from the battery to the engine. If no improvement, test the battery at an auto parts store. If the battery is good, you have good ground AND it still wont start you could have a bad starter or starter relay There are easy tests for both of those as well. Easy Peasy (haha...I just discovered you can "like" or LOL your own post)

How do I trouble shoot starter and relay

For the starter you can use a jumper cable running directly from positive on the battery to the starter. If it starts your in the clear with the starter.

This is a vid of my push start test. I seen a video saying if I put a screw driver between the solenoid terminals and if it starts the solenoid is bad well that's what happened youtu.be/bYip3lnsMWw

Starter or starter relay?

Starter or starter relay? If you're getting 12v at the starter solenoid (the plastic connector) , then you have a bad solenoid. If not you need to check your grounds. Not sure why you decided to create a whole new thread for this.

Lets start off using some trouble shooting logic.
In this vid you shared. From what I can see, there is no charger connected but just a multi-meter. You press the start button, then engine slowly crank/turns over.(button, relay & solonid work) Voltage drops to almost nothing on the multi-meter. Answer: weak/bad battery Voltage should not drop that low with a good battery. Solution: Replace battery
FYI, When the battery is that weak and you keep trying to start it, you WILL ruin the starter. You are basically burning up the winding on the armature(the spinny part) Electric motors like to spin when power is applied to them. When they don't spin to their full load potential they will burn up.(brushes & winding)
In this vid you bypass the start button and it stills turns over slow. If you have done nothing with the wiring from previous vid I am still going to say its just a weak battery.
In this vid you had the battery on the trickle charger and it was still hooked up, it starts up. So the start button and relay are in working order. The battery was fully charged and the starter did its job.
So with everything seen and mentioned above, we can rule out the starter button, starter relay, starter solenoid, and starter. I don't think there is an issue with grounding but it wouldn't hurt double checking.
So whats left, the battery and charging circuit(stator & voltage regulator). You stated that when you kick start it and run it for awhile and then you are able to start it with the button, you can rule out the stator because its charging the battery to full state. This can also be checked with the multi-meter when the engine is running at the battery. You should see the voltage rise as you rev the engine.
If your batter is not holding a charge, chances are the battery is bad. To check this, disconnect the battery from the scooter, either + or - or both cables. Leave batter on charger for awhile to charge then disconnect charger and let it sit for a 1/2 hour and check voltage. Let battery sit for day and go back check voltage voltage again. If there is a substantial drop in voltage, the batter is going or is bad.
The best way to test the battery is to take it out and take it to a local auto parts store and have it load tested.
All that's left is the voltage regulator. If that is bad it could be "leaking" voltage.(better term is allowing voltage to flow backwards and is energizing the stator(basically making it a electromagnet) and running the battery down. Unfortunately to test this you will have to be tested with a KNOWN working battery
This test would require having the battery fully charged, battery cable disconnected from the scooter and voltage measured. Now connect the cables to the scooter while the multi-meter connected to see if there is any voltage drop(note ignition needs to be OFF and if there is a remote starter/alarm disconnect it or pull the fuse) Now let it set overnight with battery connected. Check the voltage the next morning, if the voltage is significantly lower it s good chance the diode in the regulator has failed and the regulator is bad.

I think he was told his battery was bad back about 4 topics ago. I think he had it tested and they told him it was bad. I do not get this at all? Bill

It was a bad ground. I put it on the front of motor head a whala magic
