I made a gasket threw the intake mani. Still wontcrank only turn over. Gas is getting to the carb. I have spark. Jus changed drive belt 779. Battery good. High performance CDi n coil week old NEW. It worked even with belt broke . Took off belt . Put 26 mm carb on it . Didn't work. Put new belt on . Then old 18 mm carb no work still videos n pics in post please respond thanks Video youtu.be/2hqnGzoeHicPics a66.tinypic.com/nzjfba.jpg a68.tinypic.com/eaim4g.jpg a66.tinypic.com/17elux.jpg a65.tinypic.com/2v26p2r.jpg a64.tinypic.com/2vv1fmr.jpg a64.tinypic.com/1zvwot5.jpg a66.tinypic.com/2h6uiwm.jpg

If you have a spark, and there is fuel it can only be one of a few things....
1). the spark is occurring at the wrong time (cam timing could be off) or too weak (is the spark blue or orange?) 2). There is not enough compression to support combustion (massive cylinder leak) 3). The "gasoline" you are using has deteriorated and will not support combustion or is diluted.
Other than that...if you put a spark in a closed chamber with gasoline mist.......BOOM!
Also, I assure you, I have seen carburetors (even brand new ones) that prevented the motor from starting due to internal defects or blocked passages.

Is it a 49cc. The carb might be to big, too much fuel. There is a certain flow rate that these engines will handle. Alos check your pickup at your stator, how are valves, set properly.

1 blue spark. 2. It couldn't have lost compression 3. 97 gas premium

premium gas is harder to set of than regular. you only need high octane if you have a high compression ratio.
try, with a fully charged battery holding the throttle all the way open while cranking the electric start for 20 seconds. then rest for one minute. do this 5 times then start waiting 5 minutes between attempts to avoid burning your starter.
if this doesn't workd after 10 attempts stop. and try starting it with starting fluid. only attempt this twice.
if it still wont start, empty the tank and try regular 87 octane.

Changed spark plug it started on kick n idle fine . Let it run 10 min . Then I drove it 50 feet n it died . I have now lost all compression . What could be the next step?

I went from turning over not cranking. Changed spark plug adjusted valves. Cranked n idle perfectly. Drove it 50 ft. Died Tried to kick start no compression. Push start just spinning. Sad

I relly doubt you lost compression. it sounds like you are running with either too rich or to lean of a main circuit. but really you need to just get the idle circuit straightened out befor you worry about that.
did you get it to start with the 18, 20, or 26 carb?
if you can get it to start then you should be able to adjust the idle. if you can turn the air fuel screw more than 3 turns out you need a smaller idle jet. if you can turn it in less than 1 turn then you need a bigger idle jet.
get that figured out then worry about the main jet
sorry if this doesn't make sense I have been drinking

I can push the kick lever down with my hand the push start just spins . There is no pressure when I put my finger on s plug

My fly wheel the one on top of variator is missing all the front edges like the kick starter broke all the plastic . Can this be a cause of low compression.

Your exhaust valve is stuck open, or your valve adjustment is wrong.
