Better yet, if you are worrying about it blowing up...and have the funds to improve it, then by all means BLOW IT UP! What is there to lose? You gain valuable knowledge, if you don't crash hard. Most engines give some warning, like you suddenly are thinking "Hey, this is running super good!"...them eeeeackkkk!! Stuck a piston.
Cylinder head temp indicator should keep you safe.

Your Baccio VX50 is not CDI restricted. A CDI isn't going to net you any real performance gains and will most likely be way less reliable than the stock one unless you spring for something decent like the Malossi one Brent showed. Then again- no real gains to be had with a CDI.. Your best bet is to spend a hundred bux on a BBK, CVT springs and rollers, and carb jets- more if you can afford it. Unfortunately there aren't any real cheap and easy mods that make a whole heck of a lot of difference if you're still running the stock 49cc cylinder- especially on the heavy beast of a Baccio VX50!

have you checked for other restrictions? they use all kinds of restrictions on 2T, including dummy pipes in the exhaust, detuning the intake etc, You have a lot more options as far as creating power with a 2T, remember twice the power strokes at a specific rpm, vs a 4 T, plus no parasitic loss from a cam or valve train
