How do you measure the threads ?

Measure the diameter of the threads at their largest point. That should tell you the thread diameter, 5mm or whatever it is. Then you'd need to measure thread pitch. If you have a pitch gauge, you can try that. Otherwise, measure the distance between 2 thread peaks.

Ok the thread diameter is 4.7 and the pitch is 1.2.

1.2 thread pitch for a 5mm diameter sounds coarse. Looks real close to the pitch of the 6mm jet that won't work. See if their threads will mesh. If so, you've either got the 0.75 thread pitch like that 6mm jet lists or maybe Mx5x0.8. M5x0.8 is common, so you could get a nut and bolt in that size and see if they fit over the jet and into the carb without play or being over tight turning to help you figure out what it is if you actually find similar pilot jets in both sizes. If you can find a jet like it, you prob won't have both choices so whichever it comes in will likely be what you have. I would guess this is what you're after : www.jetsrus.com/a_jets_by_carburetor_type/jets_keihin_N424-74C_slow_27-xxx.htm

I ordered a set from Raizer's link. I think my pilot is a tad too rich so hopefully these are the ticket. I would have liked to get genuine Keihin, but they are expensive and hard to find.

I will order them if I have the money. Did you choose those by the measurements claimed by the seller ? What key words did you use when you searched for idle jets ? I think I used the method ''search for ''gy6 idle jets'', then I order the results through ''review of 4 stars'' and ''number of orders'', then I look at the cheapest products amongst the first results...

Yeah. Like pancakes says jets r us has ‘em all. But be wary, the jet is maybe a couple of dollars but the shipping is a lot. So order a range of what you think you might need and get them at the same time. The type of jets are going to depend on your carb. Some places, like drow sports, have sets for the PWK carb.

Also don’t forget about your needle size. I’ve found that replacing the stock needle on a Kehein PWK or PWK clone with a JJK sized needle helps a bunch.

Don’t waste you money on a brand name keihon. A) their expensive, b) their that raw metal color and ugly, c) the PWK design has been around forever and their are lots of good copies. I’ve had good luck with the OKO carbs Here is a pwk slow jet kit link www.drowsports.com/oko-pwk-carburetor-slow-jet-kit-10-pcs-30-52/Is it xmas yet? 😁

I got my jets in today from the Chinese supplier and they are too small for my PD19J carb, but look like they would probably work fine for the OP's carb. It's my fault though, I didn't measure the threads before I ordered and just assumed they would work in my carb. Oh well! If anyone needs some of the small style pilot jets PM me!

I have been able to find the pilot jet for my bike and got it back on the road. I found the jet at jet r us. the jet is a keihin jet size 35 (SKU-N424-74C). I would recommend this company for the exceptional service I received when asking if they had the jet.
