My scoot has disc brakes on both front wheels. One lever operates the front disc brakes and another lever operates the rear disc brake. ABS valves have always been a problem on scoots and motorcycles. Problem reliability wise or what kind of problem?
I feel its like personal preference from what i read elsewhere people who used to ride scooters for a while and used to non ABS braking take them off because they create "feeling" there's like air pocket left or whatever and they don't need this since they are pro's, for me as n00b its very useful piece of hardware.
What about full ABS scooters would you remove the ABS system and just have it old school?

I was a noob on a scoot and I would not have liked ABS at all. It is a crutch that can malfunction, and from what I have read frequently does. Get used to riding without ABS. ABS on a scoot is really a misnomer someone borrowed from powered electronic ABS systems used on cars and trucks. Scoot ABS systems are in no way an Antilock Brakes System. When riding a scoot or a motorcycle use the rear brake and IF you need extra braking use the front brake sparingly. Did you ever ride a bicycle with hand brakes? That is the way to ride any two wheel vehicle. If you can't do it then sell the scoot and go back to a cage or a bike with a coaster brake.

IMHO its stereotypes i am fine with so called ABS block. Harley Davidson have real ABS and many non-chinese scooters now days also come with full ABS like cars.

Go for it if you are unable to operate standard brakes and need the crutch. Find a scoot with ABS that really works and buy it.
The HD ABS-linked systems have been recalled many times for failures.
A short wheelbase and light vehicles make ABS a misnomer.

Just changed rear drum brake pads today i opted for more expensive green ones and it makes all the difference now before rear brake would not hardly do anything on the speed now it noticeably slows down the scooter, i use rear brake in traffic light stops instead of the front and front only when needed extra or to practice emergency braking.
Previous standard yellow brake pads that were not worn out however they turned in a smooth hard glass like surface and were not efficient.
