Looking at the dimension, the pipe is around 12,600 tuned length,=tooo short..I guess-timated a 35mm ex port duct length and tried to get a 10,500 length, needs to be 903mm,so you'll need to add 114mm at the 35mm(1 3/8" at auto parts store) weld joint..After thats done it aint gonna be a perfect pipe, but a heck of a lot closer..Oughta do well with a 70cc kit too!

thanks for running those numbers. question is how do I add 114mm at that point? that's right around the cooling fan (ie curved area) adding between those 2 curved joints is gonna angle my chamber up in a weird way. my question is can I add a shorter/ bigger dia piece of pipe between the next set of #? at that point ive cleared the fan shroud and can add a straight length, as opposed to having to bend the new piece and figuring out how to remake the next section straight. also port to flange was 40mm I thought I wrote that down. sorry

You could try that, but a pipe has a prefered % value,,head pipe should be 32% of total length, headpipe and diffusers 64%,etc..so just throwing in a spacer pipe anywhere(we used to space the belly before we knew these factors)is a crap shoot..Its tough messing with a pipes as everything is curved and has tapers, just gotta out smart that dumb old pipe and make it work...

so I put the pipe on the chopping spree because the aero carb was frustrating me. I gotta say wow. that motor is all stock jdm with a little higher compression due to an ab07 head. carb is stock keihen with 88 or 90 main jet. cant remember. I lost a little torque off the line but when it hits 25ish, its like a shot of nitrous. actually throws you back all the way to 45 and has more. its just a little squirrely and I let off. not used to that acceleration yet. lol it wants to scream on the center stand too. wat higher than before. this coming from my home made pipe which had a little more rpm than a stock pipe. im impressed and still need to add the 114mm length of pipe. just wanted to update.

lol!!! thanks 190 for guiding me to the light!! I almost want to put a chamber on my 66cc dyno roadster moped and see what difference that makes. I don't have a tach. one of the things on my to buy list. I need to play with the trans a little and see how she feels. id like to get a little more off the line. already have 2k springs on that clutch. thinking of leaving the roller weights alone and putting a 2k contra spring on. see how she likes that.
