Or it could be electrical problems? I had hooked up a car cigarette lighter to my battery and somehow I didn't do right and when I tested it the wires went up in flames, I don't see any other wires that got burned. Anyway I don't remember but was thinking that my problem started before that..I got a bad reading off my stator so I replaced it. Then had even more problems. As I gave it gas the headlights dimmed so I replaced the voltage regulator it doesn't change now when I give gas but are always dim now...And ridding, seems when warmed up it runs bad and starts cutting out when give gas or when RPMs are high. Any suggestions?

What scoot? Some details so maybe someone here can help. Chargers/power ports are usually direct from battery .make sure you have good grounds engine, chassis etc.

Sounds like you may have more than one problem? When running is charging system ok? , was stator connected correctly? Was this dying at hi rpms there before meltdown? There are some diagrams etc. In tech section on this site That could possibly help with issue. Just tring to point ya in the proper direction,

Just tring to point ya in the proper direction, It was connected the same as the old one was to the wire connector. But the new stator had no ground wire and they assured me that they did away with it because there wasn't a need for them. From the stator to wiring harness. And the ground that came up to the connection from wiring harness I connected to the frame.

When the engine gets up to high speed and level off or start a small incline, the engine will start with a revving up down rhythm usually in the six or seven RPM range Sounds like you may have more than one problem? If the ground wire from old stator actually was a ground , i would have tied ground in harness to engine. (For giggles) time to break out a volt meter & do some testing.possible trace wires on old stator to new one to verify the both are wired the same.dont let wire color fool ya on chinese scoots.

The RPMs revving up and down when at a high speed is the reason I replace the stator in the first place. But the head lights are real dim is a new thing. It started after replacement but would dim as I gave throttle. I replaced the voltage regulator and now the lights are just real dim.

Revving up & down may be a whole other issue.vac. leak , leaning out , cdi , dying spark plug etc. , the dim light thing is odd , was new voltage regulator the same? Headlights on those run on ac current which usually gets brighter off idle.

Headlights on those run on ac current which usually gets brighter off idle. I put in new spark plug, and cleaned the carburetor and even put in a bigger main jet. That was the very first things I did before the stator. As for the voltage regulator I took my old one in with me with the part number that match my bike, it has the same 4 prong plug, and they said it was the right one. I did think right after the carb. work and plug, that it seemed to run a lot better but only for the first ride. At the beginning I was thinking about my muffler that had a hole in it. But I also took off the smog control lines and blocked off the line that was attached to the head cover but in the lower line off the head cover I left open like in the video was done. Needless to say that didn't fix nothing either.

I will let you know on the outcome.

Where do I find the specks for voltage readings on the 4 stroke 1P39 QMB 2014?

Yes my lights are still dim and the new stator seems to be charging well. Riding the lights seems to be going completely out, starts on one side and then both almost gone.
