After a suggestion was made, I have removed the LOL button that allows you to LOL at a post. It has been replaced with an Add Reaction button. Clicking this button will bring up a list of icons. You may select only one per post.   After you choose an icon and click "Add Reaction", you should see the icon displayed in the bottom of the post or a count added to an existing icon. Hovering over an icon should display a count of how many times that reaction was used (example; Like X 4). You also have to option to click "Remove Reaction" and remove it. You can then add it again or a different reaction if you wish.  Current Options  = LOL  = OMG (Shocked)  = Word. (I'm with you.)  = Like  = Love it! I have left the old "Like" button in place as well. It may be removed later. I'm not sure. I added a poll so you can vote if you'd prefer it to stay like this or revert to how it was before. |

I don't like the anonymous part, but I'm not sure how to do it otherwise. It's something I can put back to the way it was if that is preferred, so speak up if you like it or don't. EDIT : Added a poll to make it easy to see if people like this or the old way.

Can you not add several buttons to remove the anonymity, or would we just be button crazy then? And after the change, all of the posts that were LOL'd prior become anonymous I guess. I haven't voted yet, so I'm not sure.

When on mobile I still only have the option for a “thumb” as long as that stays I’m fine with whatever changes you make.  |

I was hoping to just add another button or two, but the LOL is a plugin for the forum and so is this. LOL won't let you do much customization. This one will, but has no option to display users. Couldn't find one to do what I want and am not familiar enough with all of the coding involved to try to add them another way. I've gotta check, but proboards v6 (this is v5) is supposed to be coming. Hate to put in too much effort because it could all change whenever the new one is standard. v6 is supposed to be designed to be more mobile friendly with plugins working on all platforms so mobile or desktop will all have the same experience. There's no release date yet, but they've been talking about it for more than 2 years so I keep thinking it must be coming soon. |

Id say keep with the old... I like the fact that you can see who lol'd at what and with these new options you'll make it easier to respond to something with just a simple icon instead of words.

It takes time for habits to 'adjust' especially with those of us with older bwains...

I may be technically challenged , but either my phone or home tablet doesnt show icon for new feature. Only have thumbs up. & usual stuff.
