I imagined there is no scooter geared for 30mph @10k, bear in mind this scooter started life as a 25kmh restricted scooter I checked OEM parts and have replaced everything related to 25kmh restrictiond, also I checked gearing it's the same used on the 45kmh version.
I do not have the stock clutch assembly currently installed I replaced it before the bbk, that was my next step to try stock clutch and see if it makes any difference.
I was riding with 6g I think the bike had decent acceleration but literally just went to 9-10k rpm instantly and stayed there and still only reached 30mph, I changed them for 7.5g, and now the bike accelerates at 8.5k and reaches 30mph at 10k still, so it has made some difference, however I don't think the weights are solving the problem I think they are just negating it, I also beleive the problem is with the belt, clutch, torque driver, possibly variator ALL HAVE which existed before, however this slow problem existed before the upgrades. I have ordered 10g weights just to see what happens, could be the clutch/torque driver is having a problem and the very heavy weights (although not solving it) might counteract enough to prove it.
I posted a pic of the variator marking in my previous post, I think it should be riding higher, I have tried same setup with
18 * 9 * 743 malossi Kevlar
18 *28 * 729 Naraku
Original ( I presume ) but worn
All the same problem, maximum speed around 30mph, there's clearly another problem I would have thought, this bike should be good for 45mph.
The OEM replacement belt is part number 23100keb7c00 but I cannot find its dimensions online, today I will put 10g weights in just to see what happens, and I will take a measurement from the centre of the crankshaft to the centre of the gear shaft if a couple others could also take this measurement and tell me you're belt size it would be appreciated.
In the mean time I will follow you're instructions to T, to see if you can diagnose the problem, thanks.
