I didnt hear it in the vid(I'm about deaf though),,you sure its not a rattle from something else? If your knock has moved to part throttle the jet needle is too lean,try raising the needle(lower the clip)and see what that does..

I'm not hearing spark knock there and it really shouldn't knock anyway without load unless something is way off.
Sounded like a rattle, but I think most of my 2T scoots have a rattle. For now, I'd go through with the squish check at least.

Not completely sure but I'm pretty sure the sound is coming from the engine and not something else.

Ok, I'm going to go get a digital caliper today and check the squish to be on the safe side and if all checks out good then I'm going to swap the fuel for premium and take it for a test ride to see if it's still knocking under load.

Didnt get a chance to run by harbor freight today to get a digital caliper but I did do a compression check which it checked out to 180 psi cranking with the throttle fully opened.
